This 11 km route, rated as moderate difficulty, owes its classification mainly to a steep climb midway through the hike. The adventure begins at Vuiteboeuf train station, reachable in fifteen minutes from Yverdon-les-Bains. Leaving the train, you will head towards the village of Vuiteboeuf before following the forest edge in the direction of Baulmes. Upon arriving in this second village, you will begin the ascent towards Mont de Baulmes, then plunge into a descent through the heart of the Gorges de Covatannaz. Through these gorges, you will have the chance to watch the Arnon flow and discover how this river has carved the rock over the centuries. The loop finally brings you back to Vuiteboeuf.
